
So what is the conclusion? There is so much that needs doing, and in many cases it is pure lack of finance and resources that is holding things up. Just one of many worthwhile projects concerns the Practical Skills centre, run by Elijah Sarigari (who also happens to run the Sunday School for the local children). The hope is to run an apprenticeship scheme for year 11 and 12 students, where they can improve their practical skills and at the same time actually produce goods for sale, generating income and employment. We have donated a computer to help with the CAD side of things, but there is also a need for various other equipment to get this project going. Please contact me if you can help.
