As with any school, the teachers are the most important asset. Stanley Sibunakau is the headmaster, and most of the staff are in the photo below. Staff are paid by the national government, but most other expenses (ancillary staff, food, keeping the generator going, buildings and maintenance, keeping the school truck going, paper) are paid by school fees, which are about $500 Australian per student per year, with minimal assistance from the provincial government. This is not enough to keep the school going, so like most schools it often closes before the end of the year when there is no longer enough money to provide food for the students.
