In a single package, here are time-related skill building activities for every level, from K through to Year 7.
Teachers can select those activities suited to students’ needs and can also vary the level of difficulty.
For example, the times shown on the clocks can be restricted to hour, half hour, quarter hour or five minute intervals. Teachers can also select any combination of clock face styles including Arabic or Roman numerals, digital, or no numerals at all.
To older children, Clockwise also offers a simple time-travel adventure. When a faulty time ship lands them at notable moments in history, they have to identify when in time they have landed in order to repair their ship. Only then can they start the next leg of their journey back to the present.
Descriptions of these events can be printed out at the end of the adventure and used to build a class time line. The adventure can be saved at any stage to allow for further research into an historical event.
